SC Cleared Electrician – MOD Tidworth
Location: MOD Tidworth, Wiltshire
Job Type: Long term, weekly pay CIS
Clearance: Valid SC Clearance required
Rate: £26-31
Contract: Long term

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to work on a long-term contract at MOD Tidworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with a strong background in commercial or MOD environments and current Security Check (SC) clearance.
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works across the MOD site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and remedial works
- Fault finding, testing, and repairs
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance
- Work from electrical drawings and specifications
- Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and site procedures
- Complete relevant documentation and certification
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times
- Liaise professionally with site management and other trades
Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) desirable
- Previous commercial, industrial, or MOD experience preferred
- Valid SC Clearance – essential
- Full UK driving licence desirable
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
