  • Define best practice for data structures, workflows, and status accounting within TCU.
  • Ensure data integrity, access control, security classification, and export control compliance.
  • Support continuous improvement of configuration and change control processes and tool usage.
  • Ensure configuration and change control activities comply with regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.
  • Lead preparation for and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits (e.g. FCA, PCA).
  • Provide configuration status accounting, metrics, and management reporting.
  • Ensure security classification and export control (ITAR/EAR) requirements are applied consistently to configuration data.
  • Support configuration and change activities across design, development, manufacture, in-service support, modification, and obsolescence.
  • Support release to manufacture, release to service, and in-service modification decisions.
  • Advise programme management on configuration risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor and support junior configuration and change control engineers.
  • Provide training and guidance on configuration management principles, procedures, and TCU usage.
  • Work closely with engineering, systems, quality, safety, manufacturing, supply chain, and programme teams.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex configuration and change issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
