🚨 SC Cleared Storage & Backup Engineer | £425/day UMB | Mostly Remote 🚨
Looking for your next contract opportunity within a secure enterprise environment?
We're seeking an experienced SC Cleared Storage & Backup Engineer to join a busy operational team supporting critical storage and backup services on an initial 6-month contract.
- Location: Edinburgh (1-2 days per week onsite)
- Remote Work: Mostly Remote
- Compensation: Up to £425 per day UMB
- Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract
- Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

- Managing BAU backup operations and daily system health checks
- Supporting enterprise storage environments and DFS structures
- Performing storage administration and backup refresh activities
- Processing ServiceNow and Azure DevOps tickets
- Supporting infrastructure and digital project delivery activities
- Responding to incidents and service failures
- Driving service improvements and automation initiatives
- Maintaining and optimising enterprise storage environments
Skills & Experience Required
- Active SC Clearance
- Storage & Backup Operations experience
- Experience with one or more of:
- Avamar
- NetBackup
- Storage Protect / Storage Protect Plus
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and Azure DevOps desirable
