Job Title: SC Cleared Field Solutions Engineer
Location: Hybrid/London/Bristol as and when required
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Rate: Up to £650 per day Outside IR35
Must be willing and eligible to go through the SC Clearance process
If you enjoy combining hands-on technical work with client engagement, this is a brilliant opportunity to support secure infrastructure solutions end-to-end. Our Client is looking for a technical liaison who can translate requirements into clear architectures, run engaging demos and proof-of-concepts, and build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the technical bridge between clients and the business, supporting secure infrastructure solutions
- Deliver product demos and build lab environments to prove solution fit
- Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs), from scoping through technical guidance and outcomes
- Provide technical input and security benefits when discussing architectures with engineers and decision-makers
- Support stakeholder management with IT teams, senior executives, and technical architects
- Help demonstrate secure communications, encryption concepts, and infrastructure considerations (including Post Quantum Computing risks and PKI basics)
- Maintain momentum across client conversations and relationship touchpoints

What You'll Bring
- Strong networking and IT infrastructure understanding, with a focus on secure communications and encryption
- Real-world, hands-on experience with Linux plus scripting/programming (bash and Python)
- Solid grasp of PKI-what it provides, along with benefits and drawbacks
- Experience translating client requirements into practical technical solutions you can clearly explain
- Demonstration and POC experience, including building and presenting technical environments
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable with solution architecture discussions and producing supporting documentation (where exposure exists)
- Current or eligibility to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance

Additional Information
- Useful experience includes UK government/regulated sector customers, cybersecurity frameworks, and/or security-related certifications (e.g., Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCNP/CCIE, AWS/Azure Security)
- Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure or secure data storage solutions is a plus
