Senior DevOps Engineer
Contract: 12 months
Location: Hybrid (London)
Clearance: SC & NPPV3 (must be Met Clearance)
Rate: £500-£550 /day Outside IR35
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with active Met Police clearance to support a large-scale cloud transformation programme, designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Git.
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker, Kubernetes/AKS and Helm.
- Develop secure cloud landing zones, governance and infrastructure aligned with security and compliance requirements.
- Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus and Grafana.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Python, PowerShell and Bash.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve platform performance, resilience and availability.
- Work closely with Architecture, Security, Cloud and Engineering teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Essential Experience

- Strong commercial DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
- Extensive Azure experience.
- Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Kubernetes/AKS and Helm.
- Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps CI/CD.
- Docker, Linux and scripting experience.
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments.
