The Role

The Sustainability Coordinator Team Lead and Operations will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to an allocated group of Sustainability Coordinators while also taking ownership of several team-wide operational and development activities.

The role will be responsible for supporting consistent service quality, improving team knowledge and ways of working, coordinating employee induction, developing the Flexible Offering proposition, maintaining effective reporting tools and supporting wider team engagement.

The role holder will work closely with Sustainability Coordinator management, Account Managers, Client Operations Specialists, New Business, Sales, Data and other internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide line management support to an assigned group of Sustainability Coordinators.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and support team members with their performance, professional development and wellbeing.
  • Set clear expectations and monitor progress against individual objectives.
  • Support effective workload and capacity management across the direct-reporting group.
  • Coach team members and provide guidance on client delivery, stakeholder management and internal processes.
  • Identify individual and team development needs and coordinate suitable training, shadowing and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
  • Support probation reviews, regular performance reviews and individual development planning.
  • Lead the induction process for new starters and implement improvements to the existing onboarding programme.
  • Manage and coordinate the content of team meetings, including ice-breakers, best-practice sessions, collaborative round-table discussions and presentations from other teams. Ensure team members are kept informed of upcoming meetings, events and planned content.
  • Organise and maintain the team’s shared space, ensuring that materials remain current, accessible and well-structured including project and contract collateral, templates, guidance documents, best-practice examples, presentations and recordings.
  • Maintain the Sustainability Coordinator contract-reporting tool, including liaising with the Finance team regarding incoming payments, contract dates, renewals and potential commercial opportunities.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of flexible service offerings in response to client demand, working with relevant internal stakeholders to identify needs, shape appropriate solutions and support their implementation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
