Role Description

The Scaffolder role at Energise Access Solutions Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Doncaster. The Scaffolder will erect, modify, and dismantle various scaffolding systems, ensuring all structures are safe, stable, and compliant with relevant regulations and company procedures.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Interpreting design drawings
  • Measuring and selecting materials
  • Installing fall protection and access systems
  • Conducting visual checks and basic inspections on scaffolds

The role involves working closely with site supervisors and colleagues, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and reporting any safety concerns or defects promptly. The Scaffolder will also contribute to continuous improvement by following best practices and supporting safe working methods on all projects.

Qualifications

  • Core scaffolding competencies, including Scaffolding installation, modification, and dismantling.
  • Safety-related skills and experience, such as Working at Height and Fall Protection practices.
  • Awareness and training for specialist environments, including Confined Space work where required.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CSCS or equivalent site safety accreditation.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include:
    • CITB/NASC-recognized scaffolding training
    • Experience with system and traditional tube and fitting scaffolds
    • Familiarity with UK health and safety regulations

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures accurately
