Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Scaffolder role based in London. The Scaffolder will erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures on a range of construction and maintenance projects, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with relevant regulations and company procedures. The role involves working at height, using appropriate tools and equipment, coordinating with site supervisors and other trades, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Scaffolder will be expected to follow all health and safety protocols, attend toolbox talks, and contribute to a positive, collaborative site culture.
Qualifications
- CISRS card holder with proven experience in scaffolding erection, alteration, and dismantling.
- Strong understanding of scaffolding safety standards, working at height regulations, and safe use of tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and site plans, with good measuring and practical problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness appropriate for manual handling tasks and working in outdoor, construction-site environments.
- Reliable timekeeping, strong teamwork skills, and clear communication with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development; CITB-related qualifications or courses are beneficial.
- Previous experience on commercial or residential construction sites in the UK is advantageous.
- Valid right to work in the UK; a full driving license is an asset for travel between sites.
