The Scaffolder role is a full-time position based in Stoke-on-Trent. Day-to-day responsibilities include erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures in line with design specifications and safety regulations. The Scaffolder will maintain scaffolding to ensure stability and compliance, prepare and load materials, and collaborate with site managers, customers and other trades to support project schedules.
The role also involves working at height, adhering to fall protection procedures, and following site-specific access protocols, including confined space requirements. Accurate documentation of work completed, adherence to company safety policies, and professional conduct on client sites are essential.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess core scaffolding skills, including Scaffolding installation, modification, and dismantling experience.
- Candidates should possess HGV license.
- Candidates should possess safety and access knowledge, including Working at Height and Fall Protection competencies.
- Candidates should possess site compliance skills, including CSCS certification and familiarity with construction site regulations.
- Candidates should ideally have formal scaffolding qualifications (e.g., CISRS), Part-2 or Advanced level, strong understanding of health and safety legislation, and experience on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Candidates should demonstrate good physical fitness, manual handling capability, reliable timekeeping, effective communication, and the ability to work in a team and follow instructions clearly.
