Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Scaffolder role located in Uttoxeter. The Scaffolder will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures in accordance with industry regulations and company safety procedures. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting drawings, loading and unloading materials, assembling scaffolding components, inspecting structures for stability, and ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy. The role involves working as part of a team, coordinating with site supervisors and other trades, and using appropriate fall protection and safety equipment. The position requires consistent adherence to health and safety standards and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Candidates should possess practical scaffolding skills, including safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffold structures.
- Candidates should possess working at height skills, including the use of fall protection systems and safe access methods.
- Candidates should possess confined space awareness and the ability to follow procedures when working in restricted areas, where applicable.
- Candidates should possess relevant construction certifications such as CSCS or equivalent, demonstrating knowledge of site safety standards.
- Candidates should possess strong understanding of health and safety regulations, good physical fitness, and the ability to handle manual work safely.
- Experience in scaffolding or construction environments and formal scaffolding training (e.g., CISRS or similar) would be beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions, work effectively in a team, communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors, and be punctual and reliable.
- Valid driving licence and access to transport to reach various sites in and around Uttoxeter is an advantage.
