Role Description
The Scaffolder role is a full-time, on-site position. Day-to-day responsibilities include erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffold structures in accordance with project plans, safety regulations, and industry standards. The Scaffolder will inspect and maintain scaffolding to ensure structural integrity, stability, and compliance with health and safety requirements. The role involves working at height, using fall protection equipment correctly, and operating in varied environments, including potentially confined spaces. The Scaffolder will collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to plan safe access solutions, maintain clear communication on site, and complete project tasks on schedule.

- Demonstrated experience in Scaffolding, including safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffold structures.
- Competence in Working at Height and Fall Protection, with strong awareness of safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Valid CISRS card and knowledge of UK construction site safety standards.
- Experience working in Confined Space environments and adherence to relevant safety protocols (permits, monitoring, rescue plans).
- Relevant scaffolding qualifications (e.g., CISRS certification or equivalent) and training in access systems.
- Ability to read and follow scaffold designs, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Good physical fitness, manual handling capability, and willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a disciplined approach to safety and quality.
- Previous experience on construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
