Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Scaffolders role based in Birmingham. The Scaffolder will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures in accordance with project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Reading and interpreting plans
- Safely loading and unloading materials
- Assembling and securing scaffolding components
- Conducting visual checks for stability and compliance

The role involves working at height, using appropriate fall protection, and maintaining clear communication with site supervisors and other trades. The Scaffolder will also assist in routine inspections, report hazards, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong scaffolding skills, including experience in erecting, adapting, and dismantling scaffolding systems in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure settings.
- Competency in working at height and fall protection, with a proven ability to use harnesses, guardrails, and other safety equipment correctly.
- Familiarity with confined space work where required, including adherence to entry permits and safety procedures.
- A valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification relevant to UK construction standards.
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, good manual handling practices, and safe use of tools and equipment.
- Effective communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a diverse site team under supervision and to deadlines.
- Relevant industry training or accreditation in scaffolding (e.g., CISRS or equivalent) and prior experience on large construction or infrastructure projects would be beneficial.
- A willingness to undertake ongoing training, follow company policies, and support a positive safety culture is expected.
