Scarefest Roblox is an online, community-driven horror experience hosted on the Roblox platform, focused on immersive scares and interactive storytelling. The team creates themed events, haunted attractions, and roleplay environments for players who enjoy suspenseful and spooky gameplay. Volunteers collaborate remotely to design, perform, and refine in-game experiences that keep visitors engaged. The environment encourages creativity, teamwork, and skill development in performance, game design, and digital entertainment. Scarefest Roblox aims to offer a safe, inclusive, and fun space for both players and contributors.
Role Description
The Scare Actor role is a remote, volunteer position responsible for performing live, in-game scares and character interactions during Scarefest Roblox events. Day-to-day tasks include roleplaying horror-themed characters, following scripts or improv guidelines, and timing scares to enhance player experiences. Scare Actors collaborate with event organizers, other performers, and support staff to coordinate scenes, maintain consistent character behavior, and adapt to live player reactions. They may assist with rehearsals, voice lines, minor scene planning, and feedback sessions to improve future events. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy acting, horror themes, and engaging with an online community.

- Candidates should possess creative media skills such as Music and Film Production to contribute to atmosphere, audio cues, or scene development when needed.
- Candidates should possess organizational and collaboration skills such as Casting experience to help coordinate roles, schedules, and scene assignments.
- Candidates should have strong communication skills, reliability in attending scheduled events, and comfort using voice or text chat in Roblox.
- Candidates should demonstrate creativity, a positive attitude, and respect for community guidelines and safety standards.
- Familiarity with Roblox, online roleplay, or horror-themed content is beneficial but not required.
