SC/DV Cleared Virtualisation & Platform Engineer
Location: London - 2-3 days per week onsite
Rate: Up to £625 per day Outside IR35
Contract Length: 6-month contract
Clearance: Active SC or DV Clearance required
I'm looking for an experienced Virtualisation & Platform Engineer to support and maintain complex, highly secure, business-critical infrastructure environments.
You'll be responsible for designing, deploying and supporting enterprise virtualisation and platform solutions, with a particular focus on automation, modern infrastructure technologies, and platform engineering.

Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with VMware vCenter and vSAN
- Experience supporting Omnissa / VMware Horizon VDI
- Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy experience
- Python development and scripting experience, ideally within infrastructure or platform environments
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerised platforms
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation, using technologies such as Terraform, PowerShell or PowerCLI
- Experience designing and supporting secure, resilient and highly available infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting skills across complex infrastructure and platform environments
