Schedule Executive
We are looking for a Schedule Executive to join our team in Leeds. The purpose of the role is to create and deliver accurate multi-platform schedules incorporating programme strategies, media plans, break patterns, and sponsorship requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning: Input and update programme schedules, link correct versions, and collaborate with Editorial teams to maximise commercial value while supporting press, compliance, and reporting needs.
- Presentation: Build and optimise schedules inline with guidelines, integrate marketing and commercial elements, resolve operational issues, and manage press deadlines and live programming updates.
- Supporting Transmission: Validate schedules, troubleshoot technical data, and meet daily delivery deadlines for main, contingency, and standby schedules.
- Post Transmission: Reconcile planned versus transmitted schedules to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate broadcast logs.
- Other Duties: Assess schedule feasibility, attend cross-departmental meetings, and deliver operational solutions for strategic business requests along with other ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Office-based work experience is essential
- Accuracy is key in this role, you must be able to work well under pressure whilst maintaining excellent levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload whilst remaining calm and approachable is essential
- Computer literate and keen to use new technology, must have experience using a range of software including email, excel and word as a minimum
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Demonstrable experience working to tight deadlines

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Experience in a post production / broadcast environment is advantageous
- A genuine interest in content and broadcasting is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to pre-empt and proactively resolve problems
- Resilience and ability to adapt to changeable situations whilst remaining positive
- Enthusiasm - we’re looking for someone who is motivated, proactive and a real team player
- Minimum grade 4/5 in GCSE English and Maths. Additional qualifications in broadcast related discipline preferred
