Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised, patient-focused individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, coordinating patient transport services and ensuring an excellent experience for patients and healthcare partners.
Essential Criteria
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal confidently and professionally with patients, carers, healthcare staff and colleagues.
- Strong customer service focus and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to remain calm, professional and effective when working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong IT and keyboard skills, with the ability to accurately use scheduling and communication systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to process information accurately.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexible approach to working patterns and operational requirements.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in a customer service, healthcare, control room, scheduling or coordination role.
- Experience of working with confidential information and maintaining discretion at all times.
- Knowledge of patient transport services, resource allocation or operational planning.

This post is for 18 hours per week on a relief working basis depending on operational requirements. The position will be based within the RAH hospital discharge lounge.
