Job Description
As our Scheduler, you will play a central role in ensuring our clients receive reliable, consistent and well-coordinated care.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective schedules for our clients and Care Professionals, taking into account individual care needs, availability, skills, location, travel time and continuity of care.

- Matching Care Professionals with clients based on care needs, skills, compatibility, availability and location.
- Promoting continuity by providing clients with consistent Care Professionals and visit times wherever possible.
- Responding calmly and practically to sickness, cancellations and urgent scheduling changes.
- Communicating changes clearly and promptly with clients, families, Care Professionals and office colleagues.
- Arranging introductions between clients and Care Professionals when required.
- Ensuring travel time between visits is realistic and schedules are practical and achievable.
- Monitoring Care Professional availability and sharing future recruitment or capacity requirements with the wider team.
- Contributing scheduling information when new care packages or changes to existing support are being considered.
- Maintaining accurate records of scheduling changes, conversations and agreed actions.
- Identifying patterns or pressures within the schedule and working with the wider team to develop suitable solutions.
- Providing regular updates on scheduling priorities, progress and any areas requiring additional support.
- Developing positive and professional relationships with clients, families, Care Professionals and colleagues.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
