Make a Difference
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all surgeries. Responsibilities include:
- Arranging pre-op testing for patients
- Obtaining consent forms
- Receiving the necessary authorization prior to surgery
- Walking each patient through instructions about what must be done prior to surgery, what time to arrive, and advising them to arrange transportation home

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- Maintains excellent customer service with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with peers in team situations.
- Strong computer and telephone skills.
- Organized and very detail-oriented.
- Complete FMLA paperwork.
- Work with physicians on preferences for surgeries and pre-op testing.
- Assist with arranging meetings for physicians.
- Arrange the physician’s schedule around their surgeries.
