Planner / Scheduler

Location: Head Office – Ashton in Makerfield (fully on site)

VOCA Fire Protection (VFP) are a specialist service provider within the Fire & Security Industry. We are recruiting for a Planner / Scheduler to join our busy service team. This role will be scheduling works for service and maintenance engineers across the UK.

Job Summary

We are seeking an individual who has previous experience within Planning / Scheduling due to winning new contracts across the UK. This role would suit someone who has previously managed busy workloads and diaries for field services teams and have strong organisational skills using CRM systems (Big Change would be an advantage).

We have a diverse range of projects, including hotels, schools, retail outlets, and leisure facilities. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, excellent telephone manner, approachable, and capable of working effectively as part of a team. This role will include all aspects of planning responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently managing service and maintenance engineers
  • Managing the service email inbox for new enquiries, customer queries and complaints
  • Managing various portals and uploading relevant documentation
  • Being a point of contact for key customers and engineers
  • Raising Job cards
  • Efficiently route planning jobs
  • Ensuring engineers have works planned
  • Ensuring service stats are achieved
  • Retaining a good customer service and relationship
  • Any other tasks as required

Qualifications Required

  • 2 years' experience within Planning / Scheduling

Location

Head Office – Wigan (fully onsite). Free parking available.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm
  • Friday 8.30am to 3pm
