About The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager UK & Ireland, the Scheduling Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheduling function, ensuring engineering resources are utilised effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The role will also oversee stock control processes and work closely with multiple departments to drive continuous improvement across service operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with scheduling, logistics, or service coordination experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and support the Scheduling Team, ensuring day-to-day activities are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Plan and coordinate engineering workloads to maximise productivity and resource utilisation.
  • Analyse scheduling processes, route planning, and engineering activity to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor and drive scheduling KPI performance, ensuring business targets are achieved.
  • Support Engineer Management through the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling reports.
  • Manage and monitor service lead times, escalating any resource or coverage concerns where necessary.
  • Ensure planned maintenance visits are scheduled in line with contractual commitments and service requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance scheduling systems and processes.
  • Review customer feedback and NPS survey results, implementing improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • Identify engineering skill gaps impacting service delivery and provide regular updates to management.
  • Manage stock control and replacement stock requirements for field engineers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and service department projects.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a scheduling, logistics, planning, or service coordination environment.
  • Working knowledge of LN or similar scheduling software.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to use initiative.
  • Team player with a collaborative working style

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Infor LN or similar scheduling software
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Proven experience delivering performance improvements and achieving operational targets.
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced service environment.
