Are you highly organised, thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy keeping multiple moving parts running smoothly? If so, our Scheduler role within Specsavers Home Visits could be the perfect next step in your career. As a Scheduler, you'll play a vital role in the success of our busy Home Visits service. You'll be responsible for coordinating daily clinic schedules, planning efficient appointment routes and ensuring our optometrists and audiologists are able to deliver seamless care to customers across the region.

No two days are the same. You'll manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing customer calls, respond to enquiries, schedule and reschedule appointments, and work closely with clinicians to maximise clinic capacity while maintaining an excellent customer experience.

Alongside scheduling, you'll complete a wide range of administration tasks that are essential to keeping clinics running efficiently. This includes updating customer records, processing clinic information, maintaining accurate databases, supporting compliance requirements and ensuring all appointment information is accurate and up to date.

Our business

Our Home Visits office is based in Wednesbury, West Midlands (WS10).

  • Full-time: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 9am-5:30pm with the requirement to work the occasional Saturday to cover annual leave (8am-4pm)

What we're looking for

  • Previous scheduling, appointment coordination or diary management experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced administrative or customer service environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Confidence managing a high volume of inbound and outbound telephone calls.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing administrative tasks.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and respond effectively to changing demands.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Confidence building relationships with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
