SCHEDULING & ADMIN TEAM LEAD
Compco | Hamilton | Full-Time
Salary up to £34,000
Mon – Fri

Engineers need routes. Clients need renewals sorted. Invoices need chasing. Subcontractors need POs approved. Every one of those things depends on someone with the judgement to prioritise, the organisation to keep it all straight and the leadership to pull a small team together to make it happen.
That's this role and right now, it needs you.
Three things you should know before you apply
- You'll actually lead people, not just admin. You'll have a team of 4 looking to you for direction, not a bigger title with the same solo workload. You'll motivate them, support them, and be the person they bring problems to.
- You'll own the relationships that matter most. Key-contract and national renewals go through you. You will build real client trust, real visibility and real influence over how those accounts feel about Compco.
- You'll be backed. Your Service & Maintenance Manager sets the direction. You will be running the department day-to-day and bringing solutions.

What you'll be doing
- Schedule and coordinate engineers’ workloads to complete servicing jobs
- Optimising engineers' routes, geography and workload
- Leading and supporting your team to process invoices and resolve queries accurately and on time
- Driving a client-focused culture. Hitting KPI targets and flagging issues early with real solutions
- Preparing and approving service and maintenance renewals
- Managing key-contract and national renewals with clear, professional client communication
- Approving subcontractor purchase orders, applying best value and cost-effectiveness
- Handling client queries directly, resolving concerns before they escalate
- Building a collaborative, high-standard culture across the department

What you'll need
- Proven experience in scheduling coordination, administrative management, or similar
- Strong leadership skills. You can motivate a small team, not just manage a task list
- Excellent organisation and time management, with a sharp eye for detail
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
