HVL Solutions is looking for an organised and motivated Planner/Scheduler to join our growing team at our head office in Pinxton, Derbyshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling our field engineers, coordinating daily workloads, communicating with customers and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience in planning, scheduling or operations
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and professional approach

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate installation and service works across the UK.
- Plan engineer workloads and optimise travel routes.
- Liaise with customers to arrange site visits and installation dates.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate records using company systems and spreadsheets.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors when required.
- Manage changes to schedules and respond quickly to operational requirements.
- Produce reports and updates for management.
- Support the wider operations team with administrative duties.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a planning, scheduling, coordination, or operations role.
- Possess excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Be confident communicating with customers, engineers, and suppliers.
- Have strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Be able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience within construction, engineering, facilities management, or field service environments would be advantageous.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility may be required during busy periods).
