Scheduling Manager
Hello, we’re Severn Trent Services, a commercial arm of the Severn Trent Group. We monitor and look after our legionella control and water treatment services and are now recruiting for a Scheduling Manager.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
In this role, you will lead, develop, and support the Scheduling Team to ensure customer, regulatory, and business requirements are proactively managed and consistently achieved.
- You will drive day-to-day team performance, delivering an efficient, customer-focused scheduling service while maintaining a consistent and standardised approach to scheduling activities.
- Working closely with key stakeholders, you will build strong collaborative relationships, identify opportunities to improve service delivery, and take ownership of complex customer issues and complaints, ensuring they are resolved promptly and to a high standard to deliver a positive customer experience.
Some of the key accountabilities include:
- Responsible for the effective planning of work for internal and external technical teams, delivering efficiency and productivity across all planning functions.
- Responsible for building and managing relationships with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Operations, and Central services teams.
- Ensure compliance within the team for all policies, procedures, and standards whether Severn Trent, regulatory, statutory, or legal obligations.
- Ensuring that all Customer KPI’s and contractual penalties are mitigated through effective planning.
- Ensure the team are always working safely and have a Mindset of reporting/highlighting safety concerns and ‘if it’s not safe don’t do it’.
- Develop and support staff to ensure the team is achieving successful results and customers are receiving excellent customer service.
- Own and investigate any issues/complaints or discrepancies while engaging with other internal/external teams to ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Take ownership, drive, and implement continuous improvement.
- Manage and provide timely feedback to the teams.
- Deliver a right first-time process, belief, and Mindset within the team.
- Ensure IT systems are used appropriately, and all systems are kept up to date.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
In order to be successful in this role, you will have proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment, supported by strong knowledge of plumbing activities and project delivery. You will be confident using IT systems, including Excel, and applying industry standards to maintain high levels of performance and compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to build effective relationships with developers and highways authorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for improving processes and customer outcomes will help you thrive in this role.
Full UK driving licence is needed for this role.
