Looking for a role where no two days are the same?
We're looking for a proactive, people-focused Scheme Liaison Officer to support residents across two housing schemes based in Walsall. This is a varied, rewarding role where you'll build strong relationships, help residents maintain their independence, and ensure our schemes remain safe, welcoming places to live.
From carrying out welfare calls and signing up new tenants, to supporting with low-level anti-social behaviour, coordinating repairs with contractors, and completing health and safety checks, you'll play a vital role in supporting our communities.

Contract: Fixed Term 6 Months
Salary: £26000 - £31300 + £750 car allowance

What you'll be doing
- Supporting residents through regular welfare visits and day-to-day tenancy management.
- Signing up new tenants and helping them settle into their new homes.
- Managing low-level anti-social behaviour and resolving issues through mediation.
- Coordinating repairs between residents and contractors.
- Carrying out tenancy audits and scheme inspections.
- Completing health and safety checks, including fire safety, pull cord testing and water testing.
- Encouraging residents to organise social activities that help build a thriving community.
- Working across two schemes, with an on-site presence two days per week at each location.
We're looking for someone who has
- Knowledge of housing, including tenancy agreements and housing benefit.
- An understanding of health and safety responsibilities, particularly fire safety, electrical and water checks with the confidence to escalate concerns when needed.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to a wide range of people.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, MS Teams and other Microsoft Office applications.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as you'll be travelling between schemes, meetings and other sites.
