Schemes Insurance Broker
Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 + benefits
Location: Remote / Hybrid – occasional travel to London
Sector: Commercial Insurance

We’re working with a leading specialist insurance business that is growing its Schemes division and looking for a commercially driven Development Executive / Insurance Broker.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong industry knowledge, established relationships and a proven sales background to build and develop their own book of business within a specialist sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and win new business within your specialist sector.
- Build and grow your own book of clients and revenue.
- Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to generate opportunities.
- Identify and develop new business leads through proactive sales activity.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions.
- Develop a strong understanding of your chosen market and become a trusted specialist within it.

About You
We’re particularly interested in individuals with a strong background or network within sectors such as:
- Scaffolding
- Renewable Energy
- Steel Fabrication
- Fire & Security
- Building Merchants
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong B2B sales, business development or commercial insurance experience.
- A proven track record of generating and winning new business.
- Strong knowledge and connections within a specific industry or sector.
- An established network and the ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers.
- A commercially driven and entrepreneurial approach.
- The ambition to build and grow your own book of business.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- £40,000 – £70,000 salary, depending on experience.
