About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the friendly team at Heronswood Primary School, part of one of the newly established River’s hubs. As a School Administrator, you will be supported by the School Office Manager, as well as a collaborative network of Office Managers and administrators from across the Trust. This wider network provides opportunities to share knowledge, learn from experienced colleagues and be part of a supportive professional community.

Key Purpose

The School Administrator plays a crucial role in creating a professional, welcoming and efficient environment for pupils, parents, staff, visitors and the wider school community. As an integral member of the school administration team, the School Administrator provides high-quality administrative, reception and organisational support, helping to ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the school. The postholder supports the implementation of school policies and procedures across a range of areas, including safeguarding, health and safety, finance administration, admissions, attendance, data protection and general school administration.

Accountabilities

  • The appointee will work as a member of the Administration Team.
  • The Office Manager will have day-to-day management of the role. The Headteacher will provide overall leadership and direction.
