An established independent education provider in Exeter is seeking an experienced School Administrator to join its team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time, year-round role within a supportive setting where organisation, professionalism and a caring approach are genuinely valued.

The Role

As School Administrator, you will keep the school's day-to-day operations running smoothly, providing wide-ranging administrative support across the setting. You will be a key contact for colleagues, parents, carers, pupils and visiting professionals, so clear communication and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with compassion are essential. The role is office based, Monday to Friday, with daytime hours such as 8am to 4pm, 8.30am to 4.30pm or 9am to 5pm.

Responsibilities for the School Administrator

  • Deliver general administrative support, including preparing reports, organising meetings, taking minutes and tracking key deadlines.
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for parents, carers, pupils, visitors, agencies and other education professionals.
  • Support the implementation and review of school policies, procedures and administrative processes.
  • Build positive, professional working relationships with colleagues and external professionals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
