Job Title: School Administrator
Location: Colne Grange School, Uxbridge UB8 2YG (supporting Colne Grange School, Hillingdon Grange School, Yiewsley Grange School and Upton Grange School)
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,500.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

About the Role
Are you an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys variety and making a real difference behind the scenes? We're looking for a School Administrator to join our friendly team, providing high-quality administrative support across our specialist schools in Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Yiewsley and Slough. Based primarily at Colne Grange School, you'll also support Hillingdon Grange School, Yiewsley Grange School and Upton Grange School, making this an exciting and varied role where no two days are the same.
As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and colleagues, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our schools run smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with our Headteachers and Senior Leadership Teams, you'll help create a welcoming, organised and professional environment that enables our pupils and staff to thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Headteachers, Senior Leadership Teams and wider school staff across our four specialist schools.
- Welcome visitors, answer telephone and email enquiries, and provide a professional front-of-house service.
- Maintain accurate pupil records, including admissions, attendance and student information using iSAMS.
- Manage a range of office administration, including filing, post, appointments, diary management and document preparation.
- Process purchase orders, invoices and financial administration using Focal Point.
- Liaise with transport providers and support the coordination of pupil transport arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, GDPR and school policies at all times.
- Travel between Colne Grange, Hillingdon Grange, Yiewsley Grange and Upton Grange Schools to provide administrative support where required.

Who We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence and is happy to travel between our school sites.
- Has previous administration experience, ideally within a busy education or office environment.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and school management systems (experience with iSAMS would be an advantage).
- Is highly organised, able to prioritise workloads and work effectively across multiple sites.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills, building positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Is proactive, adaptable and enjoys working in a varied role.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
About Us
Colne Grange School is a new specialist ASD provision. As part of the Hillingdon Grange group of schools and the Outcomes First Group, Colne Grange will offer day provision to pupils with Autism.
Located over four sites, the group provides education from early years up to KS2 and offers a unique mix of education and support to pupils within a wide spectrum of needs and abilities. Personalised teaching and learning in an autism-specific environment allows pupils’ individual needs to be addressed completely and their capabilities fully realised.
Colne Grange will provide specialist education for c35 pupils. Colne Grange deploys a wide range of teaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners, who present with a range of learning difficulties and styles. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and work towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and National Curriculum expectations where appropriate.
