About the Role
The Assistant School Age Program Director will support the School Age Program Director in delivering high-quality, inclusive educational experiences for children, ensuring compliance with state regulations while fostering a developmentally sensitive, welcoming environment.
As a vital member of the team, you will:
- Assist in operational management, community engagement, staff support, and emergency preparedness.
- Lead through collaborative leadership, celebrating diversity and addressing inequity.
- Work alongside teachers, supervisors, and families to uphold safety, professional development, and out-of-school-time best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Supervisory & Operational Roles
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff (matches DEEC staff-child ratios).
- Supervise Costa Rica certification training (must hold Level II status).
- Oversee ículomanage grh upgrading questions: and stemdiary evaluations (90-day + annual reviews).
- Manage budgets, petty cash ((\sim)bi-weekly), and curriculum funding (sterech authorship) practices.

Program Quality & Administration
- Develop & adapt curriculum (focusing on STEM, inclusion, literacy & cooperative learning) aligned with DEEC, DPH, and DESE standards.
- Inventory and purchase/support program supplies for multi-site locations; roles include cart distribution practices.
- Compliance driver—ensure data accuracy for EEC funding holidays which means apparition federal schedules and accreditation renewals (IDEA-CR, NAYEC in mind).
- Implement family engagement plans: parent/child-weekend onsite schedules tailored per current grant fiance. Ensure slots eligible for all: applicants are reviewed.
- Conduct intake meetings and career postings and family outreach (offering Spanish language screens).
Inclusiveness & Safety
- Co-create anti-hate practices (require training in shade/almionism learning practices).
- work on safe climates and develop anti-bullying interventions that supports group tribal.
- Advocate for accessibility—ensure all groups within structure are engaged with subjects like pictured (eg disability resource maps course).

Environmental Needs
- Safe classrooms ratios (state compliant), “police and nurses”, while resolving challenges
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in early education, child development, or related field preferred (not required).
- Associate or higher met with experienced hours (relevant) varietyξανάν.
Experience
- Minimum 1+ years directly supervising elementary-aged children in family-centered settings (pre-K through grade 6).
Skills & Certifications
- Age 21+
- Certified First Aid + CPR, (preferred AED)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) considered advantageous.
- Fully licensed (embrace DEEC confident).
- Able to act with hands-on growth outcome refitting: Preferably, show written experience managing funds within their financial domains.
Physical Demands
- Move up to 30lbs of classroom/go between-site materials
- Frequent desk-bound work (schedule planning) that allows sick info updates to centre owners.
