School Business Administrator

Job Title: School Business Administrator

Salary: £10,184 - £10,692 per annum

Hours: 15 hrs, TT +TED days

Location: Tardebigge CE First School


We are looking to appoint an organised and professional School Business Administrator who will provide a welcoming first point of contact for our school community and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

This is a varied and rewarding role, combining financial administration, office management, premises oversight, health and safety coordination, and general administrative support. Whilst experience in school finance or administration would be welcomed, we are primarily looking for a person with the right personal qualities who is keen to learn, enjoys working with others and takes pride in providing an efficient and welcoming service to our school community.

We are looking for a person who will:

  • Be highly organised and able to manage a varied workload effectively
  • Use their initiative and work independently when required
  • Communicate professionally and positively with pupils, parents, staff, governors and visitors
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively and contribute positively to our team culture
  • Be flexible, adaptable and committed to promoting our Christian vision and values

Tardebigge First School opened in 1815 to serve the well-established districts of Tardebigge and the surrounding areas. The school is a small one-form entry First School with extensive grounds and beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. We can offer highly motivated, happy and confident children, a dedicated and supportive staff team, and a welcoming school community. This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
