A specialist education setting in London is looking for an experienced School Business Manager to join the team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
School Business Manager: The Role
As a School Business Manager based in London, the successful candidate will oversee a range of financial, administrative and operational functions across the school.
The School Business Manager will support the leadership team with:
- Managing school finances, budgets, and expenditure
- Monitoring financial records and preparing reports
- Supporting budget planning and forecasting
- Managing purchasing, suppliers, and contracts
- Overseeing administrative and operational processes
- Supporting HR and staff administration
- Managing premises, facilities, and health and safety processes
- Ensuring effective use of school resources
- Supporting compliance with relevant school policies and procedures
- Working closely with senior leaders, staff, suppliers, and external contacts

Previous experience as a School Business Manager, School Finance Manager, School Operations Manager, Business Manager, or in a similar education-based role would be beneficial.
The Successful School Business Manager Will Have
- Experience managing budgets and financial processes
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good knowledge of school operations and compliance
- Confidence using financial and administrative systems
- The ability to manage confidential information appropriately
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working within a school or education setting is desirable
- The ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
School Business Manager: London
This is a full-time School Business Manager position based in London, starting in September 2026.
The successful School Business Manager will join a specialist education environment supporting autistic children and young people. The organisation operates specialist schools and colleges across London and the South East, including settings supporting learners from early years through to young adulthood.
