Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School,

37 hours per week. Working: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.45pm and Fridays, 8am to 3pm. Required as soon as possible.
Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly organised, motivated, and committed School Business Manager to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key strategic and operational role within our successful and caring Catholic school community.
Working closely with the Headteacher and Governors, the successful candidate will lead and manage the school's financial, administrative, personnel, and business functions, ensuring that systems and processes operate efficiently and effectively to support outstanding outcomes for pupils.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the school's financial management, budgeting, and procurement processes
- Producing financial reports and presenting information to Governors
- Managing administrative systems and office operations
- Supporting recruitment, payroll administration, and HR processes
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and statutory returns
- Supporting site management, health and safety systems, and contract management
- Managing and developing administrative staff
- Providing strategic business support to the Headteacher and Governing Body

- Has experience of business, financial, or administrative management, ideally within an educational setting
- Possesses excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Has strong financial acumen and attention to detail
- Can work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Demonstrates initiative, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality

Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff are expected to share this commitment. All appointments made will be subject to receipt of satisfactory references, and the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS Check. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), online searches will be undertaken for prospective shortlisted candidates.
