School Caterer – Temporary Full Time

Dates: Monday 14th September – Thursday 24th September
We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Caterer to work within a school kitchen in the PR3 area for a temporary period from Monday 14th September to Thursday 24th September.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a catering or school kitchen environment and will be confident working as part of a busy team to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of school meal services.
The Role
As a School Caterer, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the school kitchen and assisting with the preparation and service of meals for pupils and staff.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen
- Supporting the wider kitchen team with day-to-day duties
- Ensuring food is prepared and handled in accordance with relevant regulations
- Washing up and maintaining clean and organised kitchen areas
- Working efficiently during busy meal service periods
Requirements
The school is seeking candidates who:
- Have previous experience working in a school, care, commercial or similar catering environment
- Have a good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Are reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Are confident working in a busy kitchen environment
- Have the legal requirements and relevant certifications/checks required to work within a school kitchen
- Are available for the full duration of the temporary assignment
