Long Term Futures are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a small, friendly primary school in the Ashbourne area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. You will play an important role in ensuring classrooms, communal areas and facilities are kept to a high standard for pupils and staff.
About The Role
Working as part of the school's site team, your duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Wiping down desks, surfaces, doors and high-contact areas
- Ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely
- Reporting any maintenance, health and safety or safeguarding concerns to the appropriate member of staff
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school environment

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous, although not essential
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Friendly and professional approach
- Able to follow health and safety procedures
- Comfortable working within a school environment
- Committed to a long-term position

Previous experience working as a cleaner within a school, nursery, care setting or similar environment would be advantageous.
