About The Role

Looking for a rewarding part-time role that fits around life outside of work?

At Crookhey Hall School, we’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic School Cleaner to join our friendly team. Working just 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, this is a great opportunity to enjoy regular hours while becoming a valued part of a supportive school community.

Your work will play an important role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment where our pupils can learn, grow and thrive. From preparing classrooms for the next school day to keeping shared spaces fresh and hygienic, you’ll be able to see the difference your work makes every day.

If you take pride in a job well done, enjoy working as part of a team and are looking for a permanent role with hours that leave your mornings and evenings free, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Keep classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas clean, hygienic and welcoming.
  • Carry out routine cleaning alongside occasional deep-cleaning and additional tasks when required.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely in line with COSHH requirements.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and let the team know when stock needs replenishing.
  • Identify and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns.
  • Work alongside the Site Manager and wider team to maintain high standards across the school.
  • Help create a safe and positive environment for our pupils, colleagues and visitors.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in creating clean, well-presented spaces.
  • Is reliable, punctual and has excellent attention to detail.
  • Can work independently while also being a positive member of the wider school team.
  • Has a practical, flexible and can-do approach.
  • Understands the importance of health, safety and safe cleaning practices.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Holds a Full UK Driving Licence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
