School Crossing Patrol Coordinator

Salary: £26,847 to £27,274 pro-rata per annum (Scale D)

Location: County Hall

Hours: 16 hours per week


We're looking for a proactive and organised individual to support the delivery of Norfolk's School Crossing Patrol Service.

In this varied role, you'll assist with recruiting and training patrol staff, carrying out site visits, maintaining records and equipment, responding to enquiries, and helping ensure the service operates safely and effectively across the county.

You'll need excellent communication and organisational skills, experience of working independently, and confidence using Microsoft Office.

This is a rewarding opportunity to help keep children and communities safe on their journeys to and from school.

As a flexible 16 hours role (year around) it is designed to support a range of school crossing patrol activities that vary throughout the year, offering work patterns Monday to Friday that reflect changing operational needs. The 16 hours will be worked flexibly.
