Each day, rain or shine, thousands of children in Coventry cross the road with a School Crossing Patrol on their journeys to and from school. Patrols operate at many locations in the city, and they are sited to ensure that the children and their parents are able to travel to school more safely.
We value diverse perspectives and experiences and are striving to create a workplace culture that is inclusive, is accepting of all and is free from discrimination and bias.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a confident, motivated and reliable individual who is trusted to work alone and carry out their job as it should be done every day that they are required to be on site. We need someone who is able to work outside in all weathers (for fairly short shifts) as the service operates every school day, whether it’s sunny and hot or raining and windy! Uniform is provided. This is a very rewarding job and Patrols we currently employ say that they get a lot of job satisfaction. If you think this is the role for you, please take the time to apply and join our friendly team.
The recruitment process is being conducted in two parts. The first stage will be a telephone call on Tuesday 13 October 2026 where we will ask you 5 short questions. These questions will be scored and if successful, you will be asked to attend a face-to-face interview on Tuesday 20 October 2026.
