Join our Team as School Eye Care Service Administrator

Are you an organised Administrator who loves helping people and making a difference?
Join our Schools Eye Care Service and play a vital role in helping children and young people with learning disabilities access the eye care they need to learn, communicate, and thrive. You'll be the friendly and organised person helping to keep our clinics running smoothly while supporting schools, families, and healthcare professionals.
You will be well organised and driven, able to manage your own time efficiently and effectively. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team is vital. Competency with Microsoft 365 Office Teams, Word and Excel are important as well as a willingness to learn to use an eye care Practice Management System handling and maintaining sensitive patient records. Full training for this element of the role will be given.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating appointments and clinic schedules.
- Supporting families, schools, clinicians, and healthcare partners.
- Managing records, databases, and service trackers.
- Supporting consent processes and clinic administration.
- Assisting with spectacle orders, repairs, and replacements.
- Helping ensure our service remains compliant, organised, and child-focused.

- Loves being organised and paying attention to detail.

- Has strong communication and administration skills.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and managing records.
- Can handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
What You'll Bring
