School Site Assistant - Redbridge (Primary School)
£15.53 - £17.53 per hour (umbrella) ASAP start | Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Up to 7.5 hours per day | 5 days per week | All-year-round Temp-to-perm after 12 weeks
A friendly and well-established primary school in the Redbridge area is looking for a committed School Site Assistant to join their premises team. The school prides itself on being a safe, nurturing environment where pupils thrive, and they are seeking someone who can help maintain high standards across the site throughout the year.
About The Role
This is a practical, hands-on position supporting the day-to-day running of the school buildings and grounds. You'll work closely with the premises team to ensure the site remains secure, clean and fully operational.

- Daily opening and closing of the school
- Routine maintenance, minor repairs and site checks
- Supporting health & safety and compliance tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring safe access across the site
- Assisting with contractor visits and deliveries
- Responding to urgent issues as they arise
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a school premises, caretaker or site assistant role
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Strong awareness of health & safety and site security
- Someone reliable, proactive and confident working independently
- Availability to start immediately
Hours & Pay
- £15.53 - £17.53 per hour (umbrella)
- Up to 7.5 hours per day
- 5 days per week, all year round
- Temp-to-perm after 12 weeks
