About Us

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).

The Archdiocesan Schools Office provides a range of services to the system through four directorates including Faith in Learning, School Operations, Corporate Services and Governance and Strategy.

About the Role

The School Fee Support Officer is a key member of the School Fee Support Team within the Finance and Infrastructure Service Area. Reporting to the Senior Fee Support Officer, the role supports Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL) and school Principals in the effective management of school fees and related accounts.

The position is responsible for monitoring accounts receivable performance, supporting schools in the assessment and administration of fee concession applications, overseeing credit management processes, and coordinating external debt collection activities. The School Fee Support Officer works closely with schools to ensure fee management procedures are applied consistently, accurately, and in accordance with organisational requirements.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting or extensive experience working within a similar role
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Accreditation in accordance with Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
