About the Role

You will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transport for our students to and from school and other approved locations. The role is vital in helping our learners access education and supporting their wellbeing through safe daily journeys.


Working Hours

  • 30 hours per week
  • Term Time Only (38 weeks per year)
  • Monday to Friday:
    • 6:00am - 9:00am
    • 3:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Permanent position

Salary From £17,574 per annum


We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Calm, patient, and professional
  • A confident and safe driver
  • Able to build positive relationships with young people
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (or eligibility under current legislation)
  • Good driving record
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgement
  • Willingness to undertake MiDAS training and other relevant training

Desirable

  • Experience working in a school or youth setting
  • Experience transporting children or vulnerable individuals
  • First Aid or MiDAS qualification
  • Experience supporting young people with additional needs
