School Nurse (Part Time) : Portsmouth
Nurse Seekers are recruiting for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a friendly, supportive school community in Portsmouth.
This is a part-time role working afternoon shifts Monday to Friday during Term Time only.
The successful School Nurse will play a key role in the school's Health and Wellbeing Centre, providing first aid, emergency care, and day-to-day clinical support to pupils and staff. You'll also work closely with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure pupils receive safe, responsive, and holistic care.

The School Are Looking For
- NMC-registered RGN, ideally equivalent to Band 6 or higher
- Paediatric, school nursing, or child-focused experience
- A calm, confident approach in an emergency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Someone approachable, caring, and emotionally intelligent
- Ability to work autonomously while being a strong team player
The Role
- Location: Portsmouth
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 12pm-5pm
- Hours per Week: 25 hours
- Term-time only: Including INSET days
- Salary: Aligned to NHS Band 6+, dependent on experience
