Job Details
Position Type: Substantive
Hours: Full time 36 hours per week
Salary: Band 6 - Salary Range £43,231 - £52,679 per annum plus
Allowances: Distant Island Allowance of £2,278 per annum
Relocation Assistance: Up to £8000 available
About the Role
The school nursing team in Shetland are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. Working across the whole of the Shetland Islands, you will play a key part in the delivery of the refocused school nursing role, as well as supporting health screenings and immunisation delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with other professionals to improve the health and wellbeing of school aged children and young people, across the NHS Shetland locality.
- Ensure that children and young people are able to reach their full potential.
- Understand and implement child protection policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years post registration experience.
- SCPHN qualification.
