Job Description
This role is offered on a fixed term basis for up to 14 months to backfill a maternity leave.
We are looking for a registered nurse or midwife to work with children and families in the School Nursing team in Forest of Dean locality based in Lydney. The post is 30 hours per week year round.

A School Nurse is someone who is;
- dynamic and innovative, who embraces challenge
- wanting to help children, families and young people to make the best choices for their health and wellbeing
- able to support and respond to children young people and families most in need
- wanting to help safeguard children and young people of Gloucestershire at risk of harm
- interested in working in partnership with public sector and voluntary and community sector colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children, young people and their families
- enthusiastic and motivated to develop and deliver plans to improve health outcomes for individuals, families and communities
