School Office Manager

Pay Rate: GBP18 - GBP20 per hour

About The School

This is a wonderful school in Redbridge where students develop into young adults, with all the choices that their education has provided them. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to lead and oversee the administration service and operational tasks in the school.

This role requires you to work from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday, as this is a full-time position that starts soon.

Specific Responsibilities And Tasks Of This Role

  • Provide administrative support to ensure processes are followed for staff absence and all classes are covered appropriately
  • Provide administrative support to ensure student attendance/absence is followed up and procedures are followed
  • Enter the details for new students onto the system and liaise with the Admissions Officer
  • To lead, support and coordinate the work of the reception and student welfare team
  • To provide administrative support for the Head of School and senior team
  • To provide cover for Reception

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following

  • Eligibility to work in the UK is ESSENTIAL (sponsorship is not available with this role)
  • DBS on a update service is a must
  • 2 recent relevant references
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • The ability to take initiative and responsibility
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
  • Good communication and literacy skills
  • A friendly, positive and open disposition
  • Someone who has experience in supervising others
