Take ownership of a sales territory. Build brilliant school relationships. Grow White Rose.
Are you an experienced Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager or Field Sales professional looking for a role where great relationships and commercial results go hand in hand?
We're looking for a commercially driven School Partnerships Manager to grow sales and develop long-term relationships with schools and multi-academy trusts across an assigned UK territory.
This is very much a sales and account management role.
You'll be responsible for generating new business, building and managing a healthy sales pipeline, developing existing accounts, converting opportunities into sales and protecting recurring revenue through strong customer retention and renewals.
You'll spend time out in your territory meeting teachers, school leaders and decision-makers, understanding their needs and demonstrating how White Rose Education's products and services can support their schools.
You'll build genuine, long-term partnerships - but you'll also have clear commercial objectives and be comfortable working towards sales, revenue and retention targets.
If you love the combination of business development, field sales and relationship-based account management, this could be the role for you.
What You'll Do
You'll take ownership of the commercial performance of your territory, including:
- Generating new business opportunities with schools and multi-academy trusts
- Building, managing and converting a strong sales pipeline
- Prospecting and developing relationships with new potential customers
- Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial conversation through to close
- Building relationships with teachers, school leaders and other key decision-makers
- Understanding customer needs and identifying the White Rose products and services that provide the right solution
- Converting schools using our free resources into customers of our paid products and services
- Growing existing accounts by identifying opportunities for upgrades, additional products and services
- Managing an existing portfolio of customers and developing long-term commercial relationships
- Taking ownership of customer retention and renewals across your territory
- Identifying at-risk accounts early and taking proactive action to strengthen the relationship
- Visiting schools regularly for sales meetings, relationship development, presentations and events
- Representing White Rose at conferences, exhibitions, CPD sessions and other customer-facing events
- Managing your own diary, customer portfolio and territory plan
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales activity and pipeline information
- Forecasting opportunities and providing clear visibility of sales progress, risks and expected revenue
- Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Education and Customer Success colleagues to turn opportunities into long-term customers
Could it be you?
We're looking for a sales professional who happens to be brilliant at building relationships.
You could currently be working as a Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Field Sales Executive, Sales Executive, Partnerships Manager or Customer Account Manager.
You don't necessarily need to come from education.
What matters is that you can demonstrate a strong track record in B2B sales, business development or account management and that you're comfortable taking ownership of commercial results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll need to be able to show us how you've previously built pipeline, won new customers, grown accounts, closed deals, retained customers or delivered against sales and revenue targets.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in sales, business development or account management
- Has a track record of working towards and achieving sales, revenue or retention targets
- Can demonstrate success in new business development, pipeline generation or winning new customers
- Is confident managing the full sales journey from opportunity through to close
- Is commercially minded and naturally looks for opportunities to grow customer accounts
- Builds strong, credible relationships rather than relying on transactional selling
- Is confident presenting and influencing senior decision-makers
- Can independently manage a busy sales territory, pipeline, diary and customer portfolio
- Is self-motivated and comfortable working in a field-based role without close day-to-day supervision
- Is willing and able to travel regularly across an assigned UK territory for customer meetings and events
Experience of selling into schools, multi-academy trusts or the wider education sector would be a real advantage. An understanding of how schools purchase curriculum resources, products and professional development would also be beneficial.
But education-sector experience isn't essential. If you're a strong B2B sales or account management professional who can learn our market and products quickly, we'd still really like to hear from you.
The kind of salesperson who will thrive here:
- You'll enjoy having ownership of your own territory and being trusted to make it successful.
- You won't simply wait for leads to arrive.
- You'll be looking at your territory and asking:
- Where's the next opportunity?
- Which schools should I be speaking to?
- Which accounts could we grow?
- Which customers are approaching renewal?
- What do I need to do to move this opportunity towards a sale?
- You'll be equally comfortable developing a brand-new relationship and looking after an established customer.
- You'll understand that great sales in education isn't about pushing a product. It's about understanding the customer, building credibility and demonstrating genuine value - while still being confident enough to have the commercial conversation and ask for the sale.
Why White Rose Education?
White Rose Education supports teachers and learners through high-quality curriculum resources, products and professional development used by schools across the UK and internationally.
Our reach gives you a fantastic platform from which to sell.
You'll be representing a recognised education brand, developing relationships with schools and trusts and helping customers understand the additional value available through our growing range of paid products and services.
As a School Partnerships Manager, you'll have the opportunity to combine new business sales, account management and customer retention while taking real ownership of your territory.
And you'll be able to see the impact of your work - both in the commercial growth you deliver and in the schools and classrooms ultimately using our products.
Applications
Please apply with an up-to-date CV and covering letter outlining your relevant experience and why you're interested in joining White Rose Education as a School Partnerships Manager.
We'd particularly like to hear about your experience of generating new business, building sales pipeline, winning customers, growing accounts and delivering against sales, revenue or retention targets.
