School Site Assistant - Redbridge (Primary School)

Hourly pay: £15.53 - £17.53 (umbrella) ASAP start | Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required Up to 7.5 hours per day | 5 days per week | All-year-round role Temp-to-perm after 12 weeks

We are supporting a warm, community-focused primary school in the Redbridge area. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership team, and commitment to maintaining a safe, well-presented learning environment for pupils and staff. They are seeking a dependable and proactive School Site Assistant to join their premises team on a full-time, year-round basis.

The Role

You will play a key part in the smooth daily running of the school site, ensuring the building is safe, secure, and well maintained throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Supporting the daily opening and closing of the school
  • Completing routine site checks and minor repairs
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Assisting with security, compliance and health & safety duties
  • Responding to urgent issues and supporting the wider premises team
  • Liaising with contractors and external services when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a School Site Assistant, Caretaker, or Premises Assistant (essential)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
  • Strong understanding of site security and health & safety
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
  • Availability to start ASAP

  • £15.53 - £17.53 per hour (umbrella)
