We are seeking a customer-focused and adaptable Receptionist with strong interpersonal skills to provide an efficient reception service for School.

This is a full-time position from 8.00am to 4.00pm school term time only and Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities Of Working On This Position

  • To ensure that the reception area remains tidy and that literature and forms are updated and replenished as necessary
  • Maintain radio contact with Operations Manager, Site Team, and Pastoral
  • To monitor entry systems for the main gate and reception area, including during fire drills
  • Ensure that queries are dealt with effectively, taking the initiative to identify and handle issues that arise on behalf of the leadership team and others
  • Interacting with parents, carers, colleagues, and visitors to the school, at all levels of seniority, with confidence, tact, and professionalism
  • Liaise with colleagues and external contacts at all levels of seniority with confidence, tact, and diplomacy

  • Previous experience of reception duties, excellent communication, good ICT (Outlook and Word) skills are essential
  • Experience gained within a school environment and knowledge of SIMS would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service manner including dealing with a diverse range of people
  • Good organizational, telephone manner, and time management skills
  • Right to work in the UK is Essential
