Outreach & Events Officer

Access Creative College | Birmingham

Are you passionate about education, creativity and engaging with young people? We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Outreach & Events Officer to join our team at Access Creative College.

Based at our Birmingham campus, you will play a key role in promoting our courses and inspiring the next generation of creative talent across music, media, games, esports and computing.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with schools, colleges, community groups and industry partners.
  • Plan and deliver Open Days, Taster Days, careers fairs and other recruitment events.
  • Deliver engaging presentations, workshops and activities to prospective students.
  • Develop outreach opportunities, particularly for underrepresented groups.
  • Support prospective students throughout the journey from enquiry to enrolment.
  • Recruit, train and coordinate our Student Ambassador programme.
  • Manage local social media and provide engaging content for our national Marketing Team.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to maximise student recruitment.

What We're Looking For

You will have:

  • Experience of organising and delivering events.
  • Experience of working with schools, colleges or community organisations.
  • An understanding of Further and Higher Education and student recruitment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • A proactive, creative and self motivated approach.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • A current driving licence.
